Thus it always recommended to wear maternity low-rise pants with soft and breathable panel, flowing shirts that will not rubbed down the naval.
If popped out belly button causes umbilical hernia?
Again many women experience an umbilical hernia. This occurs when belly button protrude so much that it require minor surgery to repair it back. Before pregnancy many women have small hole or some defect in the abdominal wall. And during pregnancy this defect is stressed as because of excessive weight gain which causes hernia.
There is also a misconception that a protruding belly button indicates that an expectant is nearing her delivery date. Generally those who experience pop out belly button is during her 26 weeks of pregnancy but many women can also experience this before the 2nd trimester. But this doesn’t mean the mother will deliver a premature baby. It is just a reflection of the growing belly and the baby. And it cannot be prevented by any control measures as the stomach’s growth cannot be controlled as well. The mother should not attempt to push it back during pregnancy. It will go back to its normal position after pregnancy when the mother looses her weight. But the skin around the belly button can be loosen up after pregnancy. If anyone get irritated with the appearance then it can be improved and tightened by plastic surgery procedures available.
